Social Media Image Size Checkers

Free tools for checking image dimensions, aspect ratios and platform requirements before you post.

Why every platform wants a different image

Each platform designs around where people see your image: a full-screen phone Story, a widescreen video preview, a thin profile banner or a small circle. That's why one image rarely fits everywhere — a 16:9 YouTube thumbnail is far too wide for a 9:16 Story.

Platforms also differ in what they enforce. Some refuse images that are too small or too large; others accept anything and crop or scale it. Each checker marks which rules are required and which are just recommended.
